Built on our Competition last and taking design cues from the MX238 Gravel, the MX21G is a great choice for those riders who appreciate the adjustable fit and secure comfort that laces have to offer.

The padded single-piece upper wraps your foot like a second skin, giving that legendary Lake comfort on the technical gravel grind.With the heel grip liner and the 100% Carbon Fiber Sole with Mountain Race X real rubber sole, you’llpower on through those rocky gravel trails.  

Last

MX Competition Last– Featuring a larger toe box & tighter heel than the Comfort last and with slightly more overall volume than the Sport last. Exceptionally secure for hard riding/racing with enough room in the toe box to prevent binding when running up inclines or negotiating a hike-a-bike section. Designed for performance riding & racing.

Outsole

Our Lake Competition 100% Carbon Fiber Sole ensures maximum power transfer, with stiffness and security for every pedal stroke.We’ve added to this our Mountain Race X real rubber sole to give secure placement and grip on all types of terrain. 

Upper

Clarino Microfiber comes with an internal gripper heel liner helping to maintain stability. This ultra minimal upper is padded and wraps around your foot with ultimate adjustability from the laces, maximizing comfort and a secure fit. A rubber toe bumper adds protection to the front of the shoe, while the feet benefit from a naturally formed toe box. 

Closure

Durable and easily replaceable Laces that offer Unlimited and Ultimate customization for fit and comfort, alongside a classic cycling shoe style. With ultimate adjustability, the laces wrap the single piece upper like a second skin.
